Rebel Wilson reveals the hit songs that remind her of home

She’s one of Australia’s most successful comedic exports.

And on Tuesday, Rebel Wilson revealed the songs that remind her of home.

Speaking to BuzzFeed UK, the US-based 37-year-old actress confessed that the iconic ‘I Still Call Australia Home’ tune was what made her most nostalgic.

She still calls Australia home! Rebel Wilson reveals the ‘obscure’ hit songs that remind her of her Sydney hometown and family….and you’ll never guess what they are

‘There’s a song, ‘I Still Call Australia Home’ which Qantas often uses when you fly into Australia… It’s very Australian,’ she said.

And proving that she’s still very much connected to her roots, Rebel added that it was another Aussie banger that reminded her of her family.

‘This is obscure, but John Farnham, who’s an Australian singer, has a song called ‘You’re The Voice’ which is a real Aussie Anthem,’ she added.

‘Something like that or something AC/DC.’

And although confirming she’s still an Aussie at heart, her native song choices come after the star spent much of the year in a legal defamation battle with Bauer Media.

Speaking to Sunday Night last month, Rebel said she was left devastated by the publisher’s ‘brutal’ articles that left her feeling ‘bullied’.

‘They have no idea how actually brutally hard it is … yes I am an actress and I am in the public eye, but I’m a human being,’ she confessed.

The judge found the articles had damaged her reputation and marketability, awarding the actress a $4.5 million payout in October.
