This is the moment an out-of-control driver comes inches from colliding head on with an oncoming car.

In the shocking dashcam footage a Ford Focus is seen driving at high speed around the corner of a wide bend.

The video, filmed from the oncoming car, shows the Ford overtaking another vehicle in damp weather.

It comes close to the white car as it overtakes using the middle of the road.

Swerving out in the central hatching markings, the car appears to have lost control. It comes within a hair’s breadth of the oncoming car.

The car with the dashcam holds its line, despite coming inches from colliding with the Ford Focus.

The video was posted to Idiot UK Drivers Exposed, a group that seeks to name and shame drivers they drive in a reckless or illegal manner.

And since it was uploaded yesterday it has received 200 comments and 500 shares.

One social media user joked: ‘Now if only he would ‘Focus’ on being on the correct side of the road.’

Another commented: ‘Blind corner, speeding in damp road conditions, crossing the hatches marking, idiot driver, just another cheating death for another day.’

The location of the incident remains unclear.
