Shocking dashcam footage shows a driver recklessly undertaking other motorway users four times.

A Vauxhall can be seen accelerating past a dashcam driver, pulling into the middle lane from the left lane in front of him on the M1 at Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

The motorist then shifts back in the slow lane, and undertakes a red lorry.

Risky: The Vauxhall could be seen weaving between the lanes and undertaking motorists on the M1

This action is repeated throughout the clip, with the driver appearing waiting for a space between two vehicles so it is possible to move into the left hand lane and undertake again.

It was recorded on motorist Steven Bullock’s dashboard camera yesterday afternoon.

In a Facebook post, he said the driver ‘did 10 mindless undertakes for no reason in 15 minutes’.

Another man, Stephen Porter, added: ‘Even when he’s not undertaking he appears to be drifting to the edge of lanes. Is he drunk or pissing about with a phone?’

Derbyshire Police were not aware whether the incident had been reported to them.
