Reese Witherspoon was in mom mode in New York City Thursday.
The actress, 47, who has been visiting her son Deacon Phillippe, 19, was spotted outside a Crate and Barrel store where she was buying some home essentials.
Reese looked low-key in a pair of bootleg cut jeans and a white V-neck T-shirt and white sneakers.
She added a blue and white button down to the look, and accessorized with small gold hoop earrings and several necklaces, including a firefly pendant.
Her long, blonde hair was styled in a loose bun.

The Oscar winner wore minimal makeup and stepped out into the sun wearing a pair of dark shades.
Deacon looked equally casual, donning a white crew neck T-shirt, tan joggers and white sneakers.
He carried a large box as they left the lifestyle store.
The NYU student has been studying music at college, while building his own repertoire of singles.
He released the video for his latest, Found Me, on social media Friday.
‘FOUND ME video out now,’ he wrote on Instagram.
‘You can now watch the vision of the album come to life thanks to [Gray Smoley] and [Ari Isenberg] and an extremely talented group of people… check it out now.’
For her part, Reese gave her unbiased review writing ‘This one is 100’ in the comments section.

Speaking to Tracee Ellis Ross for Interview magazine, The Morning Shoe star explained the bond she has with her adult children.
‘I never expected the kind of relationship that I have with them, but it’s so rewarding to be able to have kids that you can process life with a little bit, and they help me understand the complexities of what it means to be a human now,’ the A-lister said.
‘I’m really, really grateful that these little humans are in my life. Adult humans. I have two adult children now, Tracee. It’s crazy.’
