A red 2012 Nissan Navara utility is seen smashing through the glass entrance doors of the shopping complex.

Part of the metal frame door comes crashing down with the windows smashing against the floor.

The pair of thieves jump out of the vehicle and hoist a strap out of the back of the ute before they attach it to a nearby ATM.

As they try to speed away the strap attached to the freestanding ATM snaps loose.

In a second attempt to remove the machine, the pair reverse the vehicle into the ATM and successfully rip it from the ground.

They tie the strap to the dislodged machine before trying to speed away but are unable to tow the ATM any further.

The pair make off and leave the machine behind.

Moments alter they abandon the vehicle before setting fire to it at Heritage Park.

Police say the ute had earlier been stolen from Park Road at Slacks Creek overnight on June 24.
