They’ve been the subject of split rumours for months, but recently appeared to have silenced their critics by spending a romantic holiday together in Canada.
But on Monday, Woman’s Day magazine alleged that Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy’s trip was ‘anything but romantic’ as they were involved in an ‘alcohol-fuelled argument’ on Christmas Eve.
In an unconfirmed report, it was claimed The Bachelorette couple refused to spend Christmas Day together after the ‘argument’, and pub tycoon Stu, 45, even decided to check into a separate hotel.

‘Stu looked really sad,’ according to a ‘fellow holidaymaker’ quoted by the magazine. ‘He took his luggage to the other hotel at about 12:30pm on Christmas Day.’
Supposedly, a ‘broken-hearted’ Sophie was later seen looking distressed ‘like she’d been crying’.
It was also alleged Sophie, 38, and Stu reunited on Boxing Day for lunch, but it was a rather tense affair.

Despite these claims, Sophie and Stu have been sharing happy Instagram photos of themselves at the SilverStar Mountain Resort in British Columbia over the holidays.
The Woman’s Day article also conflicts with a previous report by NW Magazine, which suggested the couple were madly in love and planned to get married in Canada.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Sophie’s management for comment and clarification.

Sophie and Stu fell in love on The Bachelorette last year, with the father-of-four entering the series late as an ‘intruder’.
Their romance was rather controversial as it emerged the pair had actually met before the show.
The couple faced persistent split rumours in the weeks following the finale, but they have both publicly denied any breakup.
