REVEALED: The $10 Kmart mop a professional cleaner relies on to keep her home sparkling clean all week

A professional cleaner has revealed a $10 mop from Kmart is key to keeping her tiled home looking pristine at all times.

Kacie Stephens the Big Clean Co  director and cleaner from Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula said she keeps the mop next to her kitchen area for use between big cleans.

She showed off the cheap mop after one follower who lives in a household of six begged for tips to keep her house clean.

‘I feel your pain, I also have a family of six and I have tiles,’ she said in the video which showed her grabbing the mop from the shelf in the store. 

In the video she also showed off the different refills for the mop head, which cost between $4-$6.

‘It keeps the floor looking presentable in between those bigger, proper cleans,’ she said.

And it appears the video struck a chord with her followers with more than 100k people tuning in for the advice.

The mop has a spray function so it can be used easily without the need for a bucket, making it popular among cleaners and homemakers.

The cleaner uses water, dishwashing liquid and eucalyptus oil in her mop to avoid streaks on her tiles.

One shop keeper was thrilled with the advice.

‘Keeping a door open all day means so much dirt and I am sick of cleaning it,’ she said.

The cleaner said she loves the mop because no vacuuming is required before you can mop the floor. 

‘It picks up every single thing the vacuum leaves behind but the best pat is you don’t have to vacuum first,’ she said.

Others were left furious after paying double for a similar mops elsewhere.  

The professional cleaner has more than 340k followers on TikTok where she consistently answers her fans’ burning questions about cleaning.

She also shares her own tips and trick without being prompted.

She often uses dishwashing detergent when she cleans and also tries to use as many natural cleaning products as possible, including hydrogen peroxide. 

Some of her videos have been viewed millions of times, with dozens of the pro’s videos going viral.
