The Australian Open store at Melbourne Park has everything for tennis lovers, but it doesn’t come cheap – with one official tracksuit jacket retailing for a staggering $419.

The pricey jacket, which is part of the commemorative Ralph Lauren and Australian Open capsule collection for 2024, seems to be selling very well online and is just one of many products on offer at eye-watering prices.

Australian Open Ralph Lauren player towels will set back punters $79, while Australian Open-branded hats are going for $50.

The Ralph Lauren AO caps are priced at $99 – and are already sold out at the online store. 

AO-branded water bottles, which made headlines for being priced at $99 two years ago, are now going for $50 or less.

Food and drink at the first major of the year are also as pricey as ever, with a beer in a 425mL plastic cup (schooner size) costing $14.50.

A glass of champagne goes for $29.50, while a 600ml bottle of water will cost you $5.90.

A chilli cheese dog at the Open is $18.50, while a beef burger and chips costs $22.50 and a humble chocolate bar will set you back $6. 

Ralph Lauren state on their website how proud they are to be involved at Melbourne Park this year – and considering the sales they are making, it’s no wonder.
