While the top stars will likely be on much higher salaries, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that the minimum a WWE star earns in a year is $350,000 (£275,000).
This figure has surprised many on social media, though there is a debate whether the amount is enough.

There were some who believe they are on very good money, with one person on X writing: ‘Sign me up.’
Another wrote: ‘Talk about taking care of your talent,’ while a third said: ‘ S*** that’s good on a per year basis. Obviously the main event talent get paid more but $350k a year on the main roster is great.’

However, there were some who debated the lowest salary still wouldn’t be enough.

And a final person wrote: ‘That’s solid, but it’s crazy because more than a decade ago, the base contract was 250k I believe.
‘You’re responsible for hotels, rental cars, food, gas, etc. I remember a few wrestlers talking about how it wasn’t a ton of money back then.’
