‘What is that fella’s name that has been messaging me all week, the O’Malley boy?’

‘He’s so nice he’s just conversating with me, he’s like “what are you doing?” and I was like, “ahh nothing.”

‘When he first dm’d me I had like five missed calls from him and I was like, “what the f***?” Like on Instagram, I didn’t even know you could f****** do that.’

O’Malley has recently undergone hip surgery after suffering a torn labrum in preparation for his fight with Merab Dvalishvili last month.

The 30-year-old entered the fight as the reigning champion of the 135lbs decision, but suffered just his second career loss as Dvalishvili utilised his wrestling skills to secure a unanimous decision victory.
