Revellers made the most of the long Easter weekend as they went on booze-ups across the country.
Partygoers in holiday-inspired fancy dress partied on the streets of London, Newcastle and Leeds over the four-day weekend.
Photographs show groups of drunken young adults posing for photos outside popular bars and restaurants.
Some are seen enjoying pints, while others – whom seemingly partied too hard – ended up in police custody.
At least four people were rushed to hospital after more than 1,000 revellers gathered for an illegal rave at an industrial estate in Bridgend, South Wales, on Saturday night that was broken up by police.
Now those who maximised the weekend fun are likely grateful for the Easter Monday bank holiday so they can recover and nurse their hangovers from home before it’s back to work tomorrow.
