Two brothers have been charged with fraud after $1 million in cash, stolen documents and ammunition were found at a house in Sydney’s southwest.

The raid on the home was sparked after a man told police in June about fraudulent invoices and large amounts of money being transferred from his bank account illegally.

Early on Tuesday morning, police arrested the men, aged 31 and 54, at a property in Revesby.

A search allegedly uncovered stolen identification documents, eight boxes of ammunition, and several shopping bags containing more than $1 million in cash.

The older brother has been charged with knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime, possessing ammunition without a licence and dealing with the proceeds of crime. 

He was refused bail and will appear in Bankstown Local Court later on Wednesday.

The younger man was charged with knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime. 

He was given conditional bail and is due to appear in the same court on November 20.
