Revolting moment McDonald’s customer finds MAGGOTS crawling inside her Big Mac burger

A repulsed mum has claimed she found maggots squirming inside her McDonalds burger leaving her ‘so sick’ she lost seven pounds.

The anonymous American woman, who took to TikTok, said she was treating herself to a Big Mac at a US branch when she allegedly made the gruesome discovery.

After tucking into her meal, she ‘immediately’ began suffering agonising stomach pain and stopped in her tracks.

It was only after she opened her burger bun, she says that she found white ‘little worms’ inside her meal.

In the stomach-churning video, posted on the platform, the revolting maggots are seen wriggling on the beef patty.

The woman, known only as @FresaConCrema313, told her TikTok followers: ‘I ate it immediately. My stomach started hurting immediately.

‘As soon as I got home I didn’t feel well.

‘I found these little worms in my Big Mac. I am so disgusted. There were about 10 more when I first opened it up.

‘They all crawled back inside the burger. Look at that. I ate that.’

She added: ‘I cannot believe this. No wonder I’m so sick — I’ve never felt this sick in my life.

‘I’m running to the bathroom every 15 minutes. I’ve lost seven pounds since I ate this.

‘I didn’t know that McDonald’s could make you lose weight.

‘Now it makes sense. I’ve got to determine if I should go to the hospital or not.’

MailOnline has approached McDonalds for comment.

But it is not the first time the fast food chain has come under fire with maggots allegedly even found in their ketchup.

Last year, one mum-of-two vowed to never eat at McDonalds again after finding what she believes was a maggot in her hash brown at a branch near Poole.

In 2022, another mum also claimed she found maggots ‘squirming’ in a ketchup dispenser at a branch in Letchworth, Hertfordshire, as she ordered food for her children.

Brits suffer around 2.4million cases of food poisoning every year, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA), costing the UK up to £9 billion each year.

In the US, meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates around 48million fall sick with food poisoning annually.

Of these 128,000 are hospitalized. It also proves fatal in around 3,000 cases.
