Alexis Bellino is getting some backlash for criticizing her house keepers’ job performance on social media
This all started when the Real Housewives Of Orange County alum found a bit of a mess lurking underneath her couch. She then took a photo of it and posted it on Instagram.
‘When your coach accidentally disconnects and you realize your maids aren’t doing deep cleaning. Found two socks too,’ Bellino, 42, wrote in the caption of the picture that shows some scattered feathers, paper cutouts and a pen on the floor.

Comment backlash: The RHOC alum has gotten some backlash from people who took issue with how she used the word maids– calling her dilemma a first world problem
There was no shortage of comments, many of whom either criticized Bellino for her use if the word maid maids or used sarcasm to get their point across.
‘Your ‘maids’ #1stworldproblems right here, you sure your going to be ok to clean it?’ one commenter shared.
Another person posted, ‘I usually never comment and am not trying to be snarky but the way you said ‘maids’ was really tacky. I have cleaning people myself and I don’t expect them to routinely move furniture.’

Some followers thought Bellino could have used different verbiage than calling the cleaners maids and felt the term was demeaning.
‘Maid is such a trashy word. You sound really privileged,’ another person wrote, adding, ‘Let’s call them house keepers instead. It sounds better.’
And finally, a woman got straight to the point with her message: ‘Who says that?? This isn’t gross … you are …’

Bellino has three children: son James, 12, and twin daughters Melania and Mackenna, 11, with second ex-husband Jim Bellino.
They finalized their divorce in August 2018 after about 14 years of marriage.
Bellino has been dating film producer Andy Bohn since earlier this year and has shared many photos of the pair online.
