RHOLSC star Heather Gay admits she has been using Ozempic for ‘a long time’ but hasn’t ‘really seen much results’: ‘I’m happy I’m down five’

Heather Gay of RHOLSC fame has admitted to trying the celeb-approved weight loss trend – Ozempic.

The reality star, 49, admitted she had been using the medication, originally intended for type 2 diabetes, for ‘a long time’ during an interview with People.

She didn’t specify how long exactly she had been using the drug, but was ‘happy’ to have dropped five pounds.

‘I’ve been on it for a long time, but hadn’t really seen much results. And I haven’t had massive results, but enough for people to notice, which is great,’ she told the outlet at Variety Women of Reality TV event on Wednesday.

Heather confessed that people have been treating her differently since the weight loss and admitted she found the kinder behavior ‘discouraging.’

‘You lose five pounds, people are nicer to you,’ she said. ‘I don’t know why. It’s just the way the world works and that makes me sad for women. But happy that I’m down five.’

The revelation comes not long after Heather was body shamed by fellow RHOLSC star Mary Cosby after she donned a Gucci corset on the show.

Cosby was asked during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live if she approved of the look, prompting her to make a shocking remark about the size of her corset.

‘I’ve never seen a corset in size 14,’ Mary said after she questioned if the corset was even by the brand.

Gay is one of numerous celebrities whom have admitted to turning to Ozempic, a popular diabetic drug which has also been used to drop the pounds, since the controversial medication began making headlines.

Fellow Bravo star Emily Simpson also admitted she had used Ozempic after fans took note of her incredible weight loss transformation.

Speaking on Jeff Lewis Live, Simpson, 47, revealed she had used Ozempic, a popular diabetic drug which has recently been used by celebrities to lose weight, for a month. She dropped 5-7 pounds on the medication before discontinuing use and then receiving liposuction and a breast reduction.

‘For one month. That was a great kickstart for me. I’m just going to say, that’s for me, it worked for me, it worked amazing because kind of all the bad habits that I had, of just kind of grazing, not really paying attention to what I was eating, eating late at night, eating my kids food. All that stuff just kind of went away, it made me more conscientious of what I was eating.

‘And so that was a really great kickstart for me… I didn’t lose a lot of weight doing it, I maybe lost 5, 7 pounds or something like that.’

Emily was joined by her husband Shane Simpson on the show, who asked, ‘Didn’t you stop because you didn’t really care for it anymore?’

‘I didn’t like the way it made me feel lethargic, it made me not have a lot of energy which is hard with three little kids, but it does make you feel full… For me it was like a refresh.’
