Rich and depraved Alexander brothers are sons of Israeli rags to riches couple who came to America with nothing

A rags-to-riches Miami couple face reputational ruin after three of their four playboy sons were accused of running a vile gang rape ring.

Shlomy and Orly Alexander, the parents of indicted star real estate agents Oren and Tal Alexander and their brother Alon, rose from poverty in Israel to the top of Miami business circles.

Self-made real estate developer Shlomy and security executive Orly Alexander emigrated from Israel in 1982 with ‘practically no money’, but soon built a multi-million-dollar empire after founding security firm Kent Security together, according to Orly’s profile on the company’s website. The pair now live in an $18 million Bal Harbor mansion.

Orly, describes herself as a ‘proud mother of four young men’, boasts an ‘extremely active’ lifestyle in Florida as a ‘philanthropist for a variety of causes, from cancer research to the Israeli Film Festival and Title 1 Public Schools throughout South Florida.’

But three of those sons now risk destroying the family she and Shlomy worked for decades to build.

She serves as the company’s CFO, while Alon is also a top executive at the family security firm after he did not join brothers Oren and Tal as real estate agents. Their fourth brother, Niv, previously worked as a journalist in New York City. Neither Niv nor his parents have been accused of any wrongdoing.

Tal and Oren’s focus on real estate also follows in the family footsteps, however, as Shlomy made a name for himself by building a number of luxury estates in Miami.

This included the sale of a $25 million property on the Sunset Islands in 2021, reports the Real Deal, as the family enjoyed their time at the top that brought the brothers in the orbit of the likes of Tommy Hilfiger.

But after building a following with a lavish social media presence – and accolades for Oren and Tal including co-selling the highest value property in US history – the family’s time at the top came crashing down amid allegations of sickening sex crimes against the three brothers.

In stark contrast to images from years past of the brothers at high flying parties, identical twins Oren and Alon were seen in rough looking mugshots following their arrest on Wednesday. Shlomy smiled and said he was doing ‘great’ following his sons’ court hearing Wednesday, with Oren snapped smirking before he was freed on bail at a hearing in Miami Friday.

Oren, who sought to portray himself as a family man, is set to give his grandparents a grandchild in the coming days, with nine months-pregnant model wife Kamila Hansen on the verge of labor.

At Oren and Alon’s first court appearance on Thursday, both Orly and Shlomy Alexander showed their support in the courthouse – and were pictured scowling from the gallery with their arms crossed.

Shlomy perked up by the time they left, however, as he wore a large smile on his face moments after hearing the sickening allegations against his sons.

Asked at the courthouse how he was doing, Shlomy raised eyebrows with his response: ‘Great!’

The three brothers were arrested in Miami, an area populated by a number of luxury mansions their family either developed, designed or sold.

Shlomy runs the Alexander Group construction firm, which describes itself as ‘specializing in developing and building the finest residences in Miami Beach, the Hamptons, New York City and Aspen.’

The hands-on developer has often shared images of himself working construction sites in the coastal area, most recently showing a lavish waterfront mansion in July during mid-construction.

In another enviable property shared to the Alexander Group’s social media in 2021, Shlomy was credited with the highest recorded sale price in Bal Harbor, Florida for the same property in both 2018 and 2021.

The clip also included Shlomy’s now-indicted son Oren from when he was a renowned luxury real estate agent.

Orla and Niv Alexander and the Alexander Group did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

In the newly released mugshots, Oren and Alon Alexander, 37, both appeared shell-shocked while being snapped for the police photos, although a mugshot for 38-year-old Tal has not yet been released. The trio are set to face federal charges in NYC.

Oren and Tal Alexander were superstar realtors with the famed Douglas Elliman real estate firm and are famous for selling America’s most expensive ever property, a $238 million penthouse overlooking Central Park they closed on in 2019.

But those heady days are now a distant memory for the pair and their sibling, who have been accused of drugging and raping dozens of women between 2010 and 2021.

Stomach-churning claims made against the trio in an indictment said they would arrange glamorous international parties as ‘bait’, then allegedly choose from a rape ‘wish list’ of women they wanted to attend.

The three brothers were each arrested at separate properties in Miami on Wednesday morning, and the twins are also facing state felony charges of sexual battery related to alleged assaults on three women, reports the New York Times.

The siblings made their name in the luxury real estate world in New York City and Miami, and often shared their lavish lifestyles on social media.

But prosecutors claim in their indictment that the brothers used their wealth and status to target and coerce women, and even allegedly conspired to set up events and trips to entice women into their web.

On Wednesday, FBI agents were seen outside Oren’s home in Miami, and a spokesperson with the FBI’s New York division told Bloomberg they obtained a search warrant for his property.

The brothers have previously denied the allegations against them and are currently being held in custody in Miami.

According to reported arrest warrants, Oren and Alon Alexander were indicted over three sexual assaults, in 2016, 2017 and 2021.

Oren Alexander is cited in all three allegations, while only the 2016 incident involved Alon.

None of the arrest warrants reference Tal and the specific claims which led to his indictment have yet to emerge.

In 2016, the warrants alleged that Alon Alexander invited a New York woman down to Miami Beach for a barbeque, only for her to find that she was the only person invited when she got there.

She claimed Alon gave her a tour and led her to the bedroom, where she was confronted by Alon, Oren, and their cousin, Ohad Fisherman.

She told the Miami Beach Police Department that Fisherman held her down while the brothers sexually assaulted her. The New York Times reported that Fisherman now faces a sexual battery charge, but remains at large at the time of writing.

In 2017, it is alleged that Oren Alexander messaged another woman on Instagram and invited to the beach, where she later met Alon and other family members.

Weeks later she said she had dinner with Oren and a friend before a real estate event, and said she was taken back to the same Miami Beach condo where the 2016 claim unfolded.

She said she tried on virtual reality goggles inside the condo, at which point Oren allegedly removed her dress and pushed her into a bedroom before assaulting her.

The victim said she met Oren weeks later at a hot tub event, and demanded an apology, which he responded to by trying to kiss her and masturbate over her, it is claimed.

When she told friends and Oren heard about it, he allegedly sent her a text message in 2018 saying: ‘Nothing happened. If you keep talking about it, I’m going to ruin you.’

In the 2021 incident, a woman claimed she met Oren at dinner with a friend before they went to a Miami Beach property. At the home, she said Oren poured her a drink and instantly tried to kiss her on the couch.

He led her to the bedroom, she claimed, ripped off her dress and shoes, and refused to let her leave. She said she later returned to the bedroom and he assaulted her, according to the warrant.
