‘Rich People Problems’: Pedestrian slams driver of $400,000 Ferrari over his parking job

A pedestrian has slammed the driver of a $400,000 sports car for parking the engineering marvel partly on the footpath and possibly damaging it.

A red Ferrari Roma V8-coupe was recently spotted parked at an angle, with its rear left tyre on the footpath in the Sydney eastern suburb of Double Bay.

It was filmed and shared to Tik Tok with the title ‘Rich people problems in Double Bay Australia’.

‘It never ceases to amaze me. You buy Ferraris and expensive cars that you literally have no clue how to drive or how to park them,’ the user who filmed the car Rodis_Life said.

‘Total disregard for road rules and street signs.’

The poster shared that the Ferrari had been parked at the angle for over three hours, even receiving a parking ticket for the ‘insanely bad parking’.

The poster said it looked like the driver had mounted the curb as if they were driving ‘a truck or ute’.

Rodi also believed the wheel, rim and parts of the rear spoiler were damaged and couldn’t understand how the driver couldn’t ‘feel the car being stuck’.

The Tik Toker also understands the low-sitting prestigious car would have needed to be accelerated in order to ‘get it up that high while it’s rippin’ the underbody’.

‘Good luck getting that down without causing a very expensive repair bill,’ he said.

Aussies were shocked by the way the Ferrari had been parked.

‘Just because you have money doesn’t mean you have brains,’ one wrote.

‘All the gear, no idea,’ another said.

‘No way would I try it on those gutters with those wheels and ground clearance,’ another wrote.

According to realestate.com.au data, the median house price in Double Bay is $6,625,000, climbing 11.5 per cent over the last 12 months.

The wealthy suburb has a following with car lovers, who visit the area to spot luxury vehicles and post footage to youtube, as well as to ‘Double Bay Cars’ on Tik Tok.
