Richard Reid wins I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

It was a race between Yvie Jones, Richard Reid and Shane Crawford on the finale of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! on Sunday night.

And after Shane Crawford exited in third place and Yvie in second, it was Richard Reid who took the crown of king of the jungle and  $100,00 for his nominated charity, Beyond Blue.

After drawn-out finale, Yvie and Richard scooted off to meet hosts Julia Morris and Chris Brown to get a final verdict.

‘Can we wee?’ Richard Reid wins I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! after begging to visit the bathroom before the announcement ….following the revelation that the ‘live’ finale was in fact filmed LAST WEEK

But the pair had only one thing on their mind as both were desperate to use the toilet.

Richard could be heard shouting, ‘Can we wee?’ as the show cut to commercial break ahead of the winner being announced.

It’s unclear if the finalists managed to visit the bathroom before the lengthy packages that were aired prior to the winner being announced.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Channel Ten recorded multiple alternate endings for the program before they finished filming in South Africa partway through last week.

Public votes were still being counted, and the winner’s version aired on Sunday.

The Daily Telegraph further reports that Channel Ten may have decided to finish filming in South Africa almost a week early in order to cut down on costs.

An insider allegedly told the paper: ‘The less number of nights they have cast and crew there, the cheaper it is. A prerecorded finale is a cheaper option.
