He split with Alex Nation early last year, after falling in love on The Bachelor 2016.
And Richie Strahan has revealed that this year, he wants to focus on himself more by travelling the world and focusing on his fitness.
The hunky ropes access technician told Daily Mail Australia on Monday, that he’s in a good place after the split.

‘I feel pretty good…I’m good,’ Richie said.
‘Last year was quite exciting, there was a lot happening but this year I want to focus on myself and things I’m passionate about,’ Richie added.
‘I’ve always loved travel, I’ve traveled so much in Australia, I’ve seen almost everything…I want to travel abroad more.’
Richie has just returned from a trip to Vietnam with Intrepid Travel, with his sister Alana.
Intrepid has launched itineraries for solo travellers.
He and Alana took off from Australia on New Year’s Day, enjoying ten days of sight-seeing, with Richie saying the trip was ‘phenomenal’.
‘We really needed a break. It was New Year’s Day that we took off. Oh my gosh, I was so hungover,’ he said.
‘I’ve always wanted to visit Vietnam…we both needed a good holiday and Vietnam is an absolutely magical place.’
Richie is now preparing to travel more and next month, will take part in a charity boxing match for Cancer Care WA.
He said he’s enjoying working on his fitness.
‘If I don’t train for it and put in the effort, I’m going to get my a**e handed to me,’ Richie said with a laugh.
‘For this, I’m skipping, I’m running, I’m training, I’m sparring nearly twice a day, it’s certainly taking its toll.’
Richie is overcoming heartbreak, after splitting with Alex Nation last year.
It emerged in August that single mother Alex was dating Frankston Bomber teammate and chef, Maegan Luxa.
Alex and Maegan announced their engagement two months ago, and just recently the Bachelor starlet became the subject of a gushing post penned by her fiancée.
Smitten Maegan took to Instagram to profess her love for Alex, accompanied by an adorable photo that saw the couple rollerblading in the sunshine.
Just a little appreciation post for my love’, Maegan began her very lengthy post.
She went on to fawn: ‘Alex is one in a billion… She’s just beautiful, inside and out right down to her core’.
The tribute further claimed: ‘She can turn almost anything negative into a positive just because she chooses to see the world in a way most find hard to’.
