Rickie Fowler and his wife Allison Stokke – a former professional pole vaulter – have announced that they are expecting their second child together, just days after the 2024 Masters Tournament. 

The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, featuring their two-year-old daughter Maya, who was born in November 2021. 

In the photo, Maya is seen adorably holding a baby sneaker while her parents crouch and beam behind her in Masters attire.

‘Maya with shoes ready for her baby sister… we’re excited to be a foursome later this summer!’ the caption read. 

The second baby’s due date is August 4, Fowler, 34, told Golfweek.

‘This is awesome!! Congrats yall,’ former swimmer Michael Phelps, who also happens to be the most decorated Olympian of all time, commented on the Fowler’s post.

Rickie Fowler’s dad, Rod, proudly added: ‘So pumped and xcited for another grand!! Child!!!’ 

The 35-year-old, former No. 1 started dating Stokke in 2017. They became engaged just a year later, before tying the knot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in October 2019. 

Stokke is also a fitness model, having previously posed for Nike and Athlete, among other sports brands. The former track and field athlete, 35, rose to fame after images of her were widely shared on the Internet when she was 17.

She vaulted for the California Golden Bears in college and competed in two NCAA Div. I Championships, earning All-American honors in 2011. 

Stokke attempted to make the American Olympic team at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials but failed to record a height. She continued vaulting at national level meetings up to 2017.  

Last week, Fowler finished tied 30th at the Masters at 5-over par. He won the annual Par 3 contest, where loved ones of players serve as caddies before the tournament begins, with a five-under 22.

He is currently ranked No. 39 in the Official World Golf Ranking after a slow start to the 2024 season.
