A 16-year-old girl who was dubbed the ‘world’s toughest teen’ thanks to her incredible athletic abilities, has stunned the world again with her latest gravity defying moves in a needs-to-be-seen-to-be-believed video.

The fitness fanatic who is a Crossfit devotee, has amassed over 485,000 followers in the last three years thanks to her incredible posts and unwavering dedication in the gym.

And it’s this mental strength and resilience that has helped her overcome physical challenges in the past, after she broke her back in a freak cheerleading accident in 2014.

In the aftermath, Demi was left paralyzed for three months and at one point feared she would never be able to walk again.

‘Two years ago I broke my lower back severely injuring myself. I was very close to having serious permanent back problems or even becoming paralyzed,’ she wrote on Instagram last year.

‘I was told I would never do hard core training again, and that I pretty much wouldn’t be able to to the things I do now.’

During her recovery, Demi learned about CrossFit and calisthenic athletes, and she vowed that she would dedicate herself to these types of athletic pursuits if she recovered.

Speaking to Fringe Sport, she explained: ‘I told myself if I was ever able to walk again that I’d be determined to live it every day, and just learn near things every day.

‘Once I started to walk again, and I was able to start training for the first time, I was dedicated, and I had a passion to keep being healthy and fit all the time, and learn new things.’

In previous Instagram posts she has swung into a headstand on a pair of parallel bars at Miami beach, before doing a series of controlled splits while upside down.

‘Is this what you’re suppose to do at a normal gym?’ she captioned the playful footage.

Plenty of Demi’s videos see her using her sheer strength to bust out handstands, scale walls, climb poles, and do backflips.

And the teen has even busted out a handstand at In-N-Out Burger, proving that if you really want to make time for exercise, you can do it practically anywhere.

While sharing a video of herself doing a handstand on the burger joint’s booths, she wrote: ‘Handstands and 4×4’s … Two of my favorite things.’
