Robbie Williams appears to make a dig at neighbour Jimmy Page by mounting a poster reading ‘Let Me Evacuate You’ on his wall after five-year planning row over his basement proposals

Robbie Williams appears to have made a dig at his neighbour Jimmy Page by mounting a poster reading ‘Let Me Evacuate You’ on his wall.

It comes after the Angels singer, 47, and the Led Zeppelin guitarist, 77, ended their epic five-year planning battle last March.

Robbie had wanted to build a basement in his £17million home in west London, but Page feared vibrations from the work would damage his neighbouring Tower House, Holland Park – his home since 1972.

Robbie is now selling his £6.75million mansion in the quaint village of Compton Bassett in Wiltshire about 85 miles from London.

The poster in question was spotted in one of the professional sales pictures being used to flog the home.

It shows old pictures of the pair side by side with the slogan ‘Let Me Evacuate You’ in red words readable above, a play on the lyrics of his famous song Let Me Entertain You.

Artist Fussy Human made the poster and originally put it up near the feuding pair’s neighbouring homes in Kensington, West London.

Representatives for Jimmy and Robbie have been contacted by MailOnline for a comment.

Williams was given planning permission for a subterranean extension in 2018 to build a gym and 30ft swimming pool at his £17.5million Grade II listed property.

Page, 75, had fought against the ruling and claimed it would damage his own Grade I listed home and mosaics.

The millionaire music legends have been at war since Williams moved next door in 2013.

Page had sought to thwart Williams’ renovation attempts as he is fiercely protective over his home Tower House, where he has lived since 1972.

The property has been described as one of Britain’s finest examples of the French Gothic revival and Page feared vibrations from construction work could damage the plaster-work inside his home.

Williams was granted permission for his extension plans on December 19 2018.

Williams – who has had two previous planning applications refused after objections from Page – lives with his wife Ayda Field and their three children.

His builders were fined £4,670 in 2017 for breaching noise regulations following a complaint by Page.

In 2017 Williams apologised to Page after likening some of his behaviour to someone with a ‘mental illness’.

Mr Page commissioned architects, civil engineers and historic building experts to write reports on the significance of his home and the threat posed by potential building work.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Robbie Williams and Jimmy Page.

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council said it had not received any noise complaints regarding the alleged incident, and that they would not have any material impact when it comes to authorizing planning permission.
