Robbie Williams fans left furious after their premium tickets to Sydney concert are changed to ‘crappy’ seats hours before show

Robbie Williams is currently performing his XXV world tour to packed crowds across Australia – but not everyone is enjoying the show.

Last week, a married couple who prepurchased expensive tickets to his Sydney show were left furious after discovering they were moved to the ‘crappy seats’.

Suzie Poullos and her husband purchased their premium tickets at $200 apiece over a year ago to ensure they had an unobstructed view of the stage.

However, upon arriving at the Moore Park concert, Poullos alleged they were directed plastic seats ‘down on the floor’ with an obstructed view.

‘I was so shocked and annoyed. I picked those seats specifically and I did it over a year ago,’ Poullos told news.com.au.

‘I picked those seats because they were on the end, so I could get up and dance if I wanted. I wouldn’t have people directly sitting in front of me.’

Poullos was told by the stadium box office that it was a ‘production issue’ and never heard back when raising the issue with Ticketek and Frontier Touring.

‘When you specifically pick seats a year ago, you don’t expect to get a text on the day of the concert saying, “sorry we’ve changed your seats and we’re giving you these ones on the floor”.’ she said.

She is pushing for a full or at least partial refund as she believes the seats they were provided with were not worth the $400 they paid for them.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Frontier Touring for comment.

Williams has been performing his XXV world tour to packed crowds across Australia, in celebration of his 25 years as a solo artist.

The pop star rose to fame in the early 90s as a member of the popular English boyband Take That.

He left the group in 1995 to forge his solo career and rejoined them from 2010 – 2014, before again leaving to focus on his solo career.
