Robert Lewandowski believes Hansi Flick should be Bayern Munich boss for the full season
‘I believe that Hansi Flick is the right man,’ he told TVN24. ‘He should have a chance to be our coach, at least until the end of the season.
‘We have a good relationship with him, his tactical and footballing knowledge is at a high level and in a short time, he has shown us what we can do to improve our playing and winning.’
Bayern chief Lothar Matthaus has insisted that the best solution for the club would to be appoint former boss Pep Guardiola.
Manchester City boss Guardiola, who enjoyed a trophy-laden three years in Bavaria, has been linked with a return to the club.
And Matthaus believes it would be a major coup if they managed to lure him back.
‘If Bayern want to play possession football, there is no better solution than Guardiola,’ the club icon told Bild. ‘It would be a win for Bayern Munich and for the Bundesliga.’
