Robert Mueller has me in his crosshairs over my private life claims Roger Stone

Longtime informal Donald Trump advisor Roger Stone claims special counsel Robert Mueller probing his ‘personal, private’ and family life in order to gain leverage to try to force him to testify against the president.

Stone made the claim in a lengthy plea for donations to a fund to benefit his legal defense – on the final day of the prosecution’s case in the trial of his longtime political and business associate Paul Manafort on fraud and tax evasion charges.

‘Mueller’s hit team is poking into every aspect of my personal, private, family, social, business and political life — presumably to conjure up some bogus charge or charges to use to pressure me to plead guilty to their Wikileaks fantasy and testify against Donald Trump who I have known intimately for almost 40 years,’ Stone vented in an online post for the Daily Caller, where he is identified as the Men’s Fashion Editor.

He charged: ‘Mueller is running a criminally abusive, constitutionally unaccountable, professionally and politically incestuous conspiracy of ethically conflicted cronies colluding to violate my Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendment rights and those of almost everyone who had any sort of political or personal association with me in the last 10 years.’

Stone lays out some of the ways investigators have been closing in on his circle.

Mueller’s team of partisan prosecutors seek to prove the unprovable — that I received allegedly hacked e-mails from the Russians or Wikileaks and passed them on to Donald Trump.

Stone friend and former employee Kristin Davis, the ‘Manhattan Madam’ testified before a grand jury for an hour in the probe. Davis, who brought prostitutes to disgraced former New York governor Eliot Spitzer, told CNN investigators wanted to know about some of his online missives which could show advance knowledge of actions by WikiLeaks, like his tweet that it would be soon be Clinton campaign chair John Podesta’s ‘time in the barrel.’

“I think there’s the general concern for some things that he seemed to predict,” Davis told CNN. Stone denies knowledge of anything other than what WikiLeaks said publicly, and called his direct message exchange with hacker Guccifer 2.0 ‘innocuous.’

Comedian Randy Credico is set to testify in September. Stone has said Credico passed on information from WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange about the forthcoming release of Hillary Clinton emails.

‘They probably want to talk to him about Roger Stone and Julian Assange,’ his lawyer Martin Stolar told CNN.

After a dispute with Credico over differing accounts, Stone emailed him: ‘Let’s get it on. Prepare to die c*** sucker,” Mother Jones reported.

Last week, a federal judge held Stone associate Andrew Miller in contempt of court for refusing to testify before the grand jury.

‘If you followed the news last Friday, you know that my longtime friend Kristin Davis testified before Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s grand jury, that my longtime associate and wingman Andrew Miller was held in contempt for his refusal to testify for the grand jury, and that a subpoena was dropped on Randy Credico who, despite his public denials, was the source who first told me that Wikileaks had the goods on Hillary and would release them in October,’ Stone wrote.

‘It was a Deep State Trifecta!’ he added.

Stone also claims the ‘ongoing inquisition’ has wiped ‘out my tiny savings and caused me to liquidate the small fund generated by my book sales for college education. My defense could ultimately cost as much as $2 million.’

He didn’t specify who or what the college education expenses were for. A separate gofundme campaign by Stone grandson Nick Stevens states that his grandfather ‘has even been forced to use the small amount he has made from the sale of the five books he has written that was supposed to help pay for my college education and the college education of my sisters and my cousins – all of Roger Stone’s grandchildren.’

Stone didn’t immediately respond to a request for clarification on the amount of the funds or how they were set up and for whom.
