A former actress has come forward to accuse director Roman Polanksi of trying to rape her when he was high on LSD, and that he tried a second time as well.
Mallory Millet, 77, who starred in Tootsie under the stage name Mallory Jones, says she was 29-years-old and a struggling actress when she was invited out for to a dinner with the director and her friends following his wife, pregnant actress Sharon Tate, being murdered by Charles Manson’s followers.
When her friends originally invited her to dinner Mallory says ‘They asked if they could bring Roman Polanski because he was devastated over the loss of his wife and they thought I might be able to cheer him up.’
In her interview with the Sun Online, Mallory says the first incident happened at the Plaza Hotel in February of 1970 and her friends warned her the director, now 84, was on LSD when she arrived.

Mallory says she met the director a second time, and he apologized, yet she claims he tried to rape her again after his apology
‘We went up to Roman’s suite to have some after-dinner coffee and drinks but (friends) Michael and Minda left and I was suddenly left on my own with Roman.’
‘When I had first arrived they told me that Roman was tripping on LSD and he had started behaving quite strangely – whereas I was very sober – so I thought it was time to leave anyway.’
‘But as I tried to leave he wouldn’t let me and he attempted to rape me very, very forcefully.’
‘He would not take no for an answer and he tried to have forcible intercourse with me.’
Mallory said she had to ‘wrestle’ the now convicted child rapist who lives life away from the grips of American justice.
Mallory, pictured here with her husband Thomas Danaher, says that she would like to see Polanksi finally brought to justice
Mallory also says she believes that like Harvey Weinstein, Polanski should be removed from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
‘Even though he is short he has very strong upper body strength, he has large arms and shoulders.’
‘I was very thin and had no muscle structure at all so we ended up wrestling, I had to wrench myself away from him, get out the door and run for my life down the Plaza hall.’
‘He was pursuing me and I was just pushing the elevator button praying: ”Dear God please let the elevator door open I don’t want this man near me another second.”
She said despite the alleged encounter, Polanski met up with her again and apologized for his behavior.
‘I ended up alone with him, he tried to put his arms around me and hold me down and I had to flee for a second time.’
One of the women claims Polanski, 84, molested her under the dinner table during a dinner party in Gstaad in 1976 while her parents were present. Polanski is pictured in the Swiss town last month. His alleged victim says it is a ‘sanctuary’ for well-known pedophiles
‘He was extremely brutish. You could tell that people almost never say no to him.’
‘When he first made his initial pass at me and I refused he just could not believe it – it was as if he was thinking ”I am the great Roman Polanski how would you dare say no to me.” He was extremely arrogant.’
‘When I tell people Roman Polanski tried to rape me twice it sounds crazy.’
‘People ask me: ‘Why did you give him a second chance are you an idiot?
‘So I don’t like telling that part of the story, I don’t know why I ended up meeting him a second time – but it happened.’
Mallory says that although the alleged incidents happened twice, she never contacted authorities because she felt they wouldn’t believe her.
She also felt that with sexual abuse and harassment so rampant in Hollywood- even if police did believe her, no one would care in the industry.
‘I never told the police because how could I prove it? I was just a young unknown actress and he was a great director,’ she said.
‘And the man seems to slip out of people’s clutches no matter what happens.’
She ultimately quit the business after the alleged incidents with Polanski and other powerful men in the industry.
‘Even after everything he has done the man still gets standing ovations from the movie world – even in recent years.
‘I just became extremely cynical about show business.’
‘I ended up fleeing the whole industry because all I did was turn down producers trying to get me under their desks and give them b*** j***.’
One of the new accusers says Jack Nicholson and his girlfriend Angelica Huston (above together in 1978) were present when Polanski molested her under the table during a dinner party in Gstaad in 1976 when she was 15. Polanski later raped 13-year-old Samantha Geimer at Nicholson’s L.A. home in 1977

‘It is a cesspool in Hollywood – it’s all sexual harassment – every minute of it.
‘All my life I’ve been waiting for Polanski to be brought to justice.’
Mallory came forward through the website imetpolanski.com. Several such websites have popped up over the past two months for various powerful men who are being accused of similar alleged behavior for women to be able to come forward with their own stories.
‘He should be removed from the Oscars academy, he should be vilified, he should be shunned.’
Harvey Weinstein was removed from the academy in October, but Polanski has since remained on.
‘I don’t care what age he is he needs to be punished,’ Mallory adds.
‘I’m very extreme about these things and I think rape – particularly of a young girl – is the same as murder and should be punished as such.’
The imetpolanski.com website has been set up by campaign group Real Women Real Stories, who have been encouraging women to come forward and share their stories of abuse by Polanski and other powerful men.
They aim to make a film about Polanski’s victims in a bid to bring him to justice – to support the project visit their website.
Some of the alleged attacks happened in 1969, the same year in which Polanski married Sharon Tate. She was murdered by members of the Charles Manson family later that year. It is not known if her death preceded Polanski’s alleged attacks on young girls
Mallory’s claims bring the total number of Polanski accusers that have come forward to 11, after five more woman came forward earlier this week to accuse the director of molesting them when they were children.
They women described how the convicted child rapist sexually assaulted them in the late 1960s and 70s before he went on the run for the statutory rape of another underage girl.
The five new anonymous victims revealed their stories to imetpolanski.com, a new website set up in the wake of multiplying sexual assault accusations against Hollywood figures.
Its founder Matan Uziel shared details of their allegations with The Sun on Tuesday.
Among them is one woman who claims Polanski molested her in 1972 or 1973 when she was nine years old. He was around 39.
Another claims he ‘squeezed and rubbed’ her genitals in 1976 when she was 15 and he was 43 as they sat a dinner table with her parents and actors Jack Nicholson and Anjelica Huston in the Alpine Swiss town of Gstaad.
At a recent screening of his latest film in Paris, Polanski came under fire from protesters who wrote ‘Very Important Pedocriminel’ on their bare chests
‘Polanski sat on my left side, put his hand on my leg. He then proceeded to touch my genitals and tried to squeeze and rub it with his hand, all that under the table in front of my father’s face,’ she said.
It was at Nicholson’s Hollywood home where the director drugged and raped Samantha Geimer in 1977 whens he was 13.
She added that Gstaad, where Polanski was pictured last month, was a safe haven for pedophiles.
‘Gstaad is a corrupt place. Beautiful but rotten from within.
‘It was and is a sanctuary for well known pedophiles and perverts who want to molest children, far away from any danger, far away from the press.
‘When you pay high taxes and throw your money, they turn a blind eye,’ she said.
Of the new accusers, two say they were attacked by him in 1969, the same year in which his first wife Sharon Tate was murdered by members of the Charles Manson family.
It is not clear whether the alleged attacks happened before or after her slaying. The other alleged attack happened in 1976 when the woman was 12.
Four other women previously described how Polanski abused them.
They include Marianne Barnard, an artist who says he photographed her nude and then molested her on a beach in Malibu, California, when she was just 10.
Her mother arranged the meeting, she said.
German actress Renate Langer claimed on October 3 that she was attacked by him in Gstaad in 1972. Swiss police are investigating her accusation.
She revealed how he attacked her in an interview with The New York Times, admitting that she was too afraid to tell her parents about it at the time.
In August, a woman who identified herself only as Robin M. claimed at a press conference that she was attacked by Polanski when she was 16 in 1973.
She said the incident happened in southern California but would not go into further detail. She is not suing him but offered to testify against him to stop his 1978 arrest warrant from being dropped.
Charlotte Lewis, a British actress, also claims to have been assaulted by Polanski.
She said he forced himself on her as she auditioned for a role in one of his films in Paris in 1983. By this time, Polanski was already on the run for having raped Geimer six years earlier.
She reported her accusations to police in Los Angeles but not in Paris where the alleged attack took place.
Polanski remains on the run after fleeing the US following his 1977 attack on Geimer.
He has been pleading for years to have the 1978 arrest warrant thrown out so that he can return to America.
He fled to France days before he was due to go to court over the attack. At the time, Polanski had reached a deal with prosecutors which meant he would serve a shorter sentence.
He got cold feet at the last minute and fled, convinced that he was being set up and that they would be tricked into a harsher prison term.
Geimer has long forgiven him for the attack and, earlier this year, she pleaded with authorities in Los Angeles to allow him back into the country. Courts in Switzerland and France have both refused to extradite him.
Polanski (above on October 31 in Paris) is now being investigated by Swiss authorities
In Los Angeles, he is protected by California’s now outdated statute of limitations which, until 2016, meant sex crimes had to be prosecuted within 10 years of them happening unless new evidence which could be tested with DNA technology emerged.
The law has since changed in rape cases but crimes which none of those allegedly committed by Polanski are recent enough to now be tried.
Polanski now lives in Paris with his 51-year-old wife Emmanuelle Seigner.
At a recent event to promote his latest film, the pair came under fire from protesters who painted the words ‘very important pedocriminal’ over their bare bodies.
His lawyer Harland Braun did not respond to questions regarding the new accusations against him on Tuesday.
Interest in Polanski’s past as a high-profile child rapist has been refreshed by the growing accusations of sexual misconduct against Harvey Weinstein.
None of the women who have identified themselves as victims of the movie mogul were under 18 when they say he attacked them. A number remain unnamed.
Police are now watching the country’s borders to ensure Weinstein does not attempt to flee as Polanski did in 1978.
‘We don’t want another Roman Polanski on our hands,’ one police source told Page Six.
