Ronan Parke looks worlds away from his Britain’s Got Talent days as he’s seen in London almost 13 years after placing runner-up on the ITV show

He is best known for stunning the nation when he auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent almost 13 years ago.

And Ronan Parke looked unrecognisable as he stepped out in London on Saturday in a dashing suit.

The young BGT star, 25, placed runner-up on the show in 2012 after blowing judges Amanda Holden, Michael McIntyre and Louis Walsh’s minds with his jaw-dropping voice.

At 12-years-old, Ronan auditioned in the competition while his mum stood in the wings with Ant and Dec.

In what was an incredibly unexpected performance, Ronan belted out Feeling Good by Nina Simone.

But despite being bookies’ favourite at the time to win the competition, Scottish singer Jai McDowall stole the crown.

And years after his memorable performance, Ronan continues to follow his passion alongside his influencing career.

Ronan often shows off his fashion sense by sharing plenty of stylish snaps for his 50,000 Instagram followers.

The Norfolk-born singer, who has released a number of singles, signed a record deal with Sony Music and released a charted self-titled debut album in 2011 – which soared to number 22 in the charts.

He also released a Christmas hit and a charity single in 2012 to represent anti-bullying.

In his early adult-life, Ronan released a single called No Love (Like First Love) and an album titled Found My Way in 2018.

In a past interview, Ronan spoke about his identity after suffering online homophobic abuse during his BGT stint, after he came out as gay.

Reflecting on his time on the show, he said: ‘I look back at it in different ways. It was mostly a positive experience, but there were certain things that happened when I was young that I could look back and say, “Oh, I was too young to do that.”

‘Being on social media was difficult. I was 12 and people were saying this really negative stuff, and it was always about sexuality, always.

‘I’d never spoken about it – I was really young, there was no need to. But it was nearly always about that and that was difficult to deal with.

‘It’s just nice to confirm it’, he told Gay Times. ‘It’s relaxing to know that I’ve spoken about it, don’t have to worry about it, and I can be more myself and authentic.’
