Rosanna Arquette, 63, accidentally crashes car into Malibu shopping center… but ‘no one was injured’ despite actress being ‘shook up’
Rosanna Arquette accidentally crashed her car into the Malibu shopping center Point Dume Village Tuesday morning.
‘We can confirm Rosanna Arquette was involved in a traffic incident in Malibu,’ the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department revealed in a statement to People.
Los Angeles Fire Station 71 Captain Mike Rivera has informed the Malibu Times that ‘luckily no one was injured’ in the collision.
Arquette, 63, was taken to the hospital anyway just to be safe, and was apparently ‘a little shook up about what happened,’ Rivera said.
She exhibited no signs that she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the incident, the exact cause of which is still ‘pending investigation,’ the authorities explained to Fox News.

Various responders, such as the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the Malibu/Lost Sheriff’s Station, arrived at Point Dume Village after the crash.
‘Around 9:45 a.m. a vehicle that was attempting to park, it was unknown exactly what happened, but instead of backing out, it went forward, and took out three pillars that support the roof,’ said Rivera: ‘luckily no one was injured, we had two tables nearby but luckily no one was sitting there.’
He added: ‘Right now we’re just waiting for engineering to come out to deem the building safe and make sure it’s safe.’
Rivera revealed that the affected businesses would have to be shut for three to five hours minimum, with his department on hand ‘making sure it doesn’t collapse.’
The Point Dume Village shopping center contains the local favorite Lily’s Malibu, a restaurant that has been operating for about a quarter-century.
On the professional front, Arquette was recently cast opposite Ron Perlman in an upcoming horror thriller called Succubus.
She has a number of projects in the pipeline, including the drama Men Of Divorce, in which she and James Norton play a couple whose marriage has collapsed.
Arquette also has a role in the forthcoming film Here’s Yianni!, about a Greek diner owner whose declining faculties cause him to think he is a late-night TV host.
