Roxy Jacenko congratulates new Australians at citizenship ceremony

Roxy Jacenko recently presented a touching speech as a guest speaker at a Wollahra Council’s citizenship ceremony in Sydney.

The savvy businesswoman, 37, shared footage of her speech congratulating and offering advice to new Australian citizens as part of YouTube series: The Real Roxy.

‘To each and every one of you who is here this evening celebrating their Australian citizenship I offer my sincere congratulations and welcome!’ she began her address.

Roxy, the founder of Sweaty Betty PR, shook hands with new citizens and posed for photos and selfies with the proud recipients, who held their certificates.

Professional Boxer and NSW State Heavyweight Champion Matt Davoren was presented citizenship on the evening and posed alongside Roxy for a photo.

‘There is nowhere else I’d rather work or live, I’m inspired every day to call this incredible country my home and to make the most of all opportunities being Australian had afforded me,’ the mother-of-two continued, advising her audience to do the same.

Roxy is the wife to Oliver Curtis, who she shares two young children with – six-year-old daughter Pixie and three-year-old son Hunter.

The blonde stunner was reunited with her husband last June after he was released from prison following being found guilty of conspiring to commit insider trade.

While Roxy’s networth is unknown, News Limited previously claimed Roxy’s Sweaty Betty and Ministry Of Talent businesses had a rumoured turnover of $13 million in 2015.

She previously shared a clip of the ceremony to Instagram last week, noting what ‘an incredible evening and opportunity’ it was to be a part of.
