Roxy Jacenko reveals the impact of letting her kids stay up late at night

She previously revealed that she lets her four-year-old son Hunter go to bed at 11pm sometimes on a school night, which may raise eyebrows for some. 

And on Tuesday, PR queen Roxy Jacenko revealed the impact of letting her kids stay up so late. 

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the 38-year-old said Hunter fell asleep on his way to school on Tuesday, but said she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Roxy defended her parenting and says she has an each-to-their own attitude. 

‘I wont lie, Hunty fell asleep on his way to school today, but at the same time we were having a good laugh last night,’ Roxy said. 

‘We were playing and reading books.’

She added: ‘He’s four, he’s not learning algebra right now.’

‘If he’s a little bit tired, so be it!’

Roxy hit back at critics, saying: ‘I guess what I’ve learned since becoming a mother is that you have to parent in a way that best suits your family and your kids.’

‘My kids don’t go to bed early. Are they tired in the morning? Yes they are. But do I get to spend great time with them when I get home at 6pm? Yes I do.’
