Roxy Jacenko speaks about her dangerous weight loss

She underwent rapid weight loss during 2017 when her husband Oliver Curtis was in prison for conspiracy to commit insider trading. 

And Roxy Jacenko has shocked fans by revealing she was living on a meager three pieces of sushi and a green juice a day, leading her to drop down to a dangerous 49kg.

Speaking at at her ‘In Conversation’ event on the Gold Coast on Friday, the 37-year-old PR maven told the audience: ‘I did have a four pack, but I just couldn’t think straight.’

‘You have to eat to be able to think, you have to eat to be able to run a business, to make good decisions,’ she explained.

‘For 12 months I decided not to eat, I mean I ate but I ate like three pieces of sushi a day and a green juice.’

The blonde businesswoman said it wasn’t a smart move on her part, admitting that her business suffered because of it.

‘I couldn’t think straight because of it, but because my life was in such a shambles’, she explained. 

‘Yes I was present, yes I was doing my work but I wasn’t looking after myself,’ she added at her seminar, which was hosted by good friend Sally Obermeder.

Reflecting back on her experience, she said: ‘If you don’t look after your health you’re no good to anybody and I was literally no good.

‘I don’t know how I functioned every day, I really don’t but I was obsessed with keeping things on track and normal and being there.’

The publicist recently revealed to Daily Mail Australia that last year her weight plummeted to just 49kg.

‘I dropped to 49kg at one point in 2016 -2017, it was a bad time for me,’ she explained.

‘I was having personal issues, had been diagnosed with cancer, managing my businesses (Ministry of Talent, Sweaty Betty PR and Pixies Bows), had the two kids and a husband that was in jail.’

She also detailed some of her extreme training sessions.

‘I do weights only training and (what feels like a million) weighted squats and plenty of sit ups on a ball 3 times a week with Dan Adair at 98 Riley St,’ she explained.

‘I also do two F45 Double Bay classes a week which is cardio based.’
