The first woman who accused Roy Moore of sexually assaulting her wrote an open letter to the Alabama Republican Senate hopeful to demand he stop calling her a liar.
‘I demand that you stop calling me a liar and attacking my character,’ Leigh Corfman wrote in the letter, which was published on AL.com Tuesday.
‘I am telling the truth, and you should have the decency to admit it and apologize.
‘But now you are attacking my honesty and integrity. Where does your immortality end?’

At the time she was just 14, and he was 32.
Moore has fiercely denied all allegations and even denied knowing Corfman.
‘When the Washington Post approached me about what you did to me as a child, I told them what happened, just as I had told family and friends years before,’ she wrote in her letter.
‘I stand by every word.’
Corfman was the first of nine women who have publicly accused the 70-year-old of sexual misconduct. Eight of them claim they were teenagers when the then-judge pursued them.
Since the women came forward Moore has unleashed vicious attacks against them in an attempt to discredit their statement.
Since the women came forward Moore has unleashed vicious attacks against them in an attempt to discredit their statement. Beverly Nelson, left, reads a statement to reporters on November 13. She is one of the nine women who has come forward about the former judge and been viciously attacked by Moore
On Wednesday his senate campaign tweeted a link to a video that attempts to smear the accusers – alleging that the women are tied to drug dealers.
And at a rally on Monday night he called the charges ‘completely false’ and said they are a part of a conspiracy concocted by the Democrats and establishment Republicans.
‘These allegations are completely false,’ he said to his supporters at the rally in Henagar, Alabama.
‘They are malicious. Specifically, I do not know any of these women, nor have I ever engaged with sexual misconduct with anyone.’
In her open letter, Corfman wrote: I gave an interview on television so that people could judge for themselves whether I was telling the truth.
‘You sent our your spokesmen to call me a liar. Day after day. Finally, last night, you did the dirty work yourself.
‘The initial barrage of attacks against me voiced by your campaign spokespersons and others seemed petty, so I did not respond. But when you personally denounce me last night and called me slanderous names, I decided that I am done being silent.
‘What you did to me when I was 14 years old should be revolting to every person of good morals. But now you are attacking my honesty and integrity. Where does your immortality end?’

Corfman spoke out in public for the first time last week, appearing on NBC’s ‘Today Show.’
She said Roy’s claim he doesn’t know her is ridiculous, saying: ‘I wonder how many me’s he doesn’t know.’
Corfman also elaborated on the alleged encounter with Moore in 1997.
Corfman said soon after meeting Moore outside the court he called to ask her out, but refused to classify their outings as dates, calling herself a ‘ a 14-year-old child, trying to play in an adult’s world.’
‘It wasn’t a date. It was a meet. At 14, I was not dating. At 14, I was not able to make those kind of choices,’ said Corfman.
‘I met him around the corner from my house. My mother did not know. And he took me to his home.’
She then said: ‘After arriving at his home, on the second occasion that I went with him, he basically laid out some blankets on the floor of his living room and proceed to – seduce me, I guess you would say.
‘And during the course of that, he removed my clothing. He left the room and came back in, wearing his white underwear. And he touched me over my clothing, what was left of it. And he tried to get me to touch him, as well. And at that point, I pulled back and said that I was not comfortable.’
Corfman said that the alleged sexual contact between herself and Moore did not progress beyond that, and soon after she asked him to take her home.
Since the allegations began a number of republicans, including Mitch McConnell, John McCain and even Ivanka Trump have denounced Moore.
But at the White House last week President Trump all but endorsed the republican nominee when asked about the scandal.
‘Well he denies it,’ Trump told reporters. ‘Look he denies it. He says it didn’t happen, and you know, you have to listen to him also.’
He then went on to explain why it would be more of a problem to have a Democrat in that seat than an accused child molester.
