But Ruby Rose wasn’t always the fashionista she is today.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, the Orange Is The New Black star shared a throwback snap of herself aged 16.

In the flashback photo, a youthful Ruby poses in her bedroom in a pair of baggy metallic trousers and a sleeveless crop top. 

She accessorises with a pink trucker cap and and ’90s inspired sunglasses and holds up a carton of beer.

The Pitch Perfect 3 star offers a glimpse of her ‘messy teenage’ bedroom in the snap.

The photo takes fans through the keyhole and reveals what Ruby’s pre-celebrity life was like around 2002.

The now 32-year-old captioned the post: ‘#TBT to when I was 16 because everyone said I wouldn’t post it on my timeline.

‘Can’t be mad at my messy teenage bedroom where my pet rat lived. who has time to clean when you’re busy stealing signs for your walls and making your broken surfboard into your table/desk.’

Ruby concluded: ‘Everyone knows I didn’t come from much, but this was a GREAT day… I had a Carton of coldies (beers) on my shoulder and my friends to enjoy them with.

‘God is good and God has been good to me. Thank you god for letting my eyebrows grow back.’
