Rumer Willis stuns in a plunging sequinned gown with a sheer cape as she attends Oceana New York Gala

Rumer Willis looked stunning as she arrived at the Oceana Gala in New York City on Tuesday evening. 

The American actress, 36, wore a plunging sequinned gown for the event, with thin straps and a fishtail skirt. 

She teamed the elegant silver and white number with a matching floor-length sheer cape. 

Rumer elevated her height with a pair of towering platform heels and styled her hair into mermaid-style loose waves. 

Arriving at Midnight by Navarros, she flashed a huge smile for the cameras before heading inside.

Oceana Gala works to support the charity’s mission of restoring the health and abundance of the ocean.

Since 2013, the New York Gala has raised more than 16 million dollars by bringing together business, philanthropic and cultural leaders. 

Rumer was joined at the event by fellow actor Ted Danson as well as Susan Cohn Rockefeller. 

Last week, she put on a showstopping performance at the annual amfAR gala in Venice. 

The actress, who revealed she had split from her partner Derek Richard Thomas 16 months after the birth of their daughter, Louetta, walked the arrivals line in a stunning chocolate satin and chiffon gown.

The frock featured a plunging neckline and draping that accentuated her curves, while a flowing wrap covered Willis’ arms and created a train-like affect as she strolled along the carpet.

Once inside the event, Rumor performed for guests including Eva Longoria, Kate Beckinsale and Lucien Laviscount.

As well as Rumer, former Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland also performed at the event.

While there, the singer rubbed shoulders with others, including Global Impact Award winner Antonio Banderas and his girlfriend Nicole Kimpel.

The annual gala raises funds for AIDS research and HIV prevention.

Since 1985, amfAR has raised nearly $900 million in support of its programs and has awarded more than 3,800 grants to research teams worldwide.

The late Elizabeth Taylor was one of the founders of what was then called the American Foundation for AIDS Research in 1985, at the height of the AIDS crisis, and helped bring attention to the need for government research and treatment for the deadly disease which, in the US, affected mostly gay men.
