Rumours emerge that Dr Chris Brown and singer Ricki-Lee Coulter are ‘hot contenders’ to take over as new hosts of Dancing With The Stars
Dr Chris Brown and singer Ricki-Lee Coulter could be set to take over hosting duties on Dancing With The Stars, according to a new report.
Brown, who recently signed a contract with Seven after leaving I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia, and pop singer Coulter, could take over from current hosts, Sonia Kruger and Daryl Somers, Woman’s Day claims.
The magazine alleged this week that the pair are ‘hot contenders’ and the gossip is leaving Kruger feeling, ‘rattled’.
‘Sonia doesn’t scare easily, but this has left her feeling unsettled,’ an alleged source told the publication.
The stunning television host was recently nominated for the prestigious TV Week Gold Logie Award for the second consecutive year.

Sonia is reportedly looking to negotiate a pay rise with Channel Seven if she wins the coveted award.
‘If Sonia wins the Gold, Seven will be looking to reward her with some sort of incentive. It could be as much as six figures,’ an insider told New Idea magazine.
It is a common practice in showbusiness to include a performance based clause in contracts which allows for pay negotiations if the presenter exceeds expectations.
The blonde bombshell is one of Seven’s most popular presenters and hosts three big reality shows on the network – Dancing With The Stars, The Voice and Big Brother.

The publication added while Sonia is open to resuming hosting duties on DWTS in 2024, she had a ‘handful of demands’ that network bosses must meet to ensure she is happy.
There have been persistent rumours Sonia may be working alongside hunky celebrity vet Dr Chris Brown, 44, as he migrates to Channel Seven.
‘Sonia will want to be there with Chris when the time comes, but bosses will have to pay up,’ the source added.
Sonia was a hot pick to win the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian TV last year, but lost to Hamish Blake for his work on Channel Nine’s Lego Masters.
