On the program, he compared addiction to: ‘A tumultuous, ever restless cosmic force of deranged appetite… first in the form of drugs, then in the form of sex.’

‘In this fourth book I talk about how do you tackle that problem and what is this appetite in the first place?’

The funnyman became a first-time father in 2016, and gave a candid insight into their new family when he appeared as a guest on John Bishop In Conversation on W.
