The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns 115-110 to kick off Game 1 one their first-round playoff series. 

Kawhi Leonard led the way for the Clippers with 38 points in the closely contested affair. The Clippers were also without All-Star forward Paul George who is has been ruled out for the series as he recovers from a knee injury.

Kevin Durant led the way for the Suns with 27 points but suffered defeat in his first playoff appearance with the Suns.
