Russian beauty queen who married Malaysian king reveals new photo of their son

A Russian beauty queen who married a Malaysian king has revealed new photos of their son, as she describes the couple’s whirlwind romance.

Ex-Miss Moscow Oksana Voevodina, 27, has taken to Instagram to proclaim her son as the ‘future King of Malaysia’ and details of how the couple met.

The couple are living in Malaysia, where her husband Sultan Muhammad V rules over the province of Kelantan despite his abdication from the throne in January.

She last posted a picture with her husband on July 6 – and is also seen pushing a pram with her baby in a Malaysian palace.

Oksana posted this picture of her pushing her son Leo in his pram in a Malaysian palace last month, writing: ‘Leo eats every 2.5 – 3 hours, he sleeps good, especially when it is fresh air outside and he enjoys cuddling very much. Actually he is wonderful and very calm child’

In one post she wrote warmly: ‘In May 2019, I gave birth to our son Ismail Leon, Inshallah His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Kelantan and, Inshallah, the future King of Malaysia.’

In Russia the most recent story in Izvestia was headlined: ‘Russian wife of ex-king of Malaysia told how she got acquainted with husband’.

She has expressed love for her husband and gave no clues that problems in the relationship – rumoured earlier in the Russian media while she was pregnant – had resurfaced.

In several recent Instagram snaps she told new details of the ‘romantic’ story of her meeting with her husband, British-educated Sultan Muhammad V of Kelantan who she wed in a surprise Moscow ceremony last November.

‘We met in spring 2017 in Europe,’ she said. ‘At that time I cooperated with our common friend jeweller Jacob Arabo. After the event, we went for dinner, where I met a man, and he introduced himself as king of Malaysia.

‘I took it as a joke and joked back that I was also the queen of Moscow. We talked all evening and exchanged phone numbers. Soon news appeared about the appointment of the king, who was my new friend…’

On July 6 she wrote: ‘We continued our communication with my future husband by phone and called each other every day. We wanted to meet again somewhere very much.

‘But that was not possible because of my modelling contracts. And we lived far away in different parts of the world.

‘Moreover one of the very famous companies for women’s clothing offered me a one-year contract outside Russia.’

This would take her to New York, she said.

Oksana shared this picture from her pregnancy, writing: 'It was the most important and, at the same time, the most difficult period in my life'

‘My future husband was very upset and asked me not to make any decision about that job before our meeting. Soon I received an invitation to visit Malaysia with my parents. So (I) went there with my mother.

‘We were really fascinated with this country and had great times all together. I will never forget the romantic evening when my future husband confessed that he felt in love with me from the first moment he saw me.

‘He told me that he loved our conversations and would like me to become his wife. That was the beginning of our beautiful love story.

‘Now Malaysia is the native land of my son, and I’m very happy when I look at our baby that I made the right choice that time.’

In another recent posting in English, she reveals her biography – including a spell studying in Oxford learning English without mentioning her alleged ‘sex in the pool’ escapade on a Russian reality TV show.

In a posting last month she wrote: ‘The man who really loves his woman will do everything for his beloved one. Love and taking care is the base for strong and healthy relationship.

‘A good husband will always support and be nice with his wife. Always is interested how does she feel and takes care of her, if she is tired. Always 100% keeps his promises.

‘Always takes responsibility for the family and doesn’t put this responsibility on his wife’s shoulders. During pregnancy he would give his wife increased attention, gifts and care.

‘Relationships are based on how can people support and understand each other. Family is the result of the work of two people who can give love gratuitously.’

She posted her first Instagram photo in early June, announcing: 'Welcome to my Official Instagram page. I will be happy to share with you the moments of my life. Greetings to all of you and thank you for your support!'
