Russian financial trader ‘fond of bondage’ confesses to killing air stewardess who he met for sex

Russian police have detained a financial trader ‘fond of BDSM’ who has confessed to killing a flight attendant after they met for sex at a four star airport hotel.

A major manhunt had been launched in Moscow for Nikita Enin, 25, after stewardess Albina Mukhametzyanova was found strangled in the bath of their suite.

The Rasputin-lookalike cryptocurrency specialist claimed he was overcome with jealousy after snooping on his 23-year-old lover’s social media following a night in a hotel at the city’s Vnunoko airport.

The couple had just ‘got back together’ after a split because she had been ‘scared’ when he tried to ‘strangle’ her, say friends.

In one video released by the Russian Investigative Committee, Enin said he ‘killed’ the flight attendant ‘unintentionally’ after a ‘row because she cheated on me’.

They had spent a ‘normal’ night together but in the morning he checked her messages on her smartphone, he said.

This triggered the row which led to her death.

In another video the ‘wealthy’ trader told police he confronted her over why she cheated on him.

‘She began to speak louder, louder, louder and I just…went crazy,’ he said.

Seen with a black eye, he was detained after police found him in Kartmazovo village, close to Vnukovo airport.

Reports said he resisted arrest and wielded a knife but gave himself up after officers shot in the air.

The stewardess’s clothed corpse was found this week in a bath ‘full of water’ at the hotel where staff said the couple had regularly met over a period of months.

CCTV pictures showed him at reception extending the room for another 24 hours before vanishing in a taxi, according to the hotel.

Staff later found the corpse of the stewardess who worked for an airline called I FLY with services to China, Vietnam and Russian cities.

Olga, a former woman colleague of Enin’s, told REN TV that he was ‘a bit strange’ and had a keen interest in bondage.

He had been ‘obsessional’ in trying to get close to her when they worked together, she said.

‘I know nothing about his relationship with this girl,’ she said.

‘I only know that Nikita was fond of BDSM, often tried to talk about it, about all sorts of bandages, suspensions, and so on.’

She had refused to take his calls.

An acquaintance called Zhanna said he had confessed to her that he and Albina split up around six weeks ago ‘because he strangled her a little’.

‘He said that it was ‘just a little, but she was scared’.

But then they got back together.

After she died and he was on the run he contacted her and alleged Albina had ‘cheated on him’.

‘He got into her social network. He saw that there were some men,’ she said.

He claimed that she had been injured by a car but it later emerged she had died in their hotel suite.

She said: ‘He asked me to read Tarot cards and divine what would happen. I am shaking after what has happened.

Friends said Alina was living her dream in becoming a flight attendant and had moved to Moscow from provincial city Naberezhnye Chelny three months ago to pursue her career.

‘She was a very positive person. When we saw her, she never stopped laughing.’

Her sister Landysh, 26, said: ‘She was so happy and beautiful. I cannot believe that we will never see her again.’

Her family and friends say she had not spoken to them about Enin.

Enin is now in detention following his confession and law enforcement are continuing the murder investigation.
