‘Serial killer and sex attacker murdered 11 women in three countries’ to ‘avenge his wife’s cheating’ and ‘raped the corpse of a woman he had beheaded’, Russian police claim

A brutal ‘serial killer’ who ‘hated women from childhood’ is accused of committing 11 murders in three countries to avenge his wife ‘cheating on him’.
Bakhtiyor Matyakubov, 45, raped most of his victims either before or after killing them, it is alleged.
In one case, he decapitated a victim then had sex with her headless corpse, say police.

Matyakubov has been sentenced to life in Ukraine for three murders and is now facing a trial in Moscow over the deaths of five women, says the country’s Investigative Committee.

In a Moscow park, he killed and raped hitchhiker Yulia Antipova, 36, whose body was not found for three years, it is alleged. In early 2015 he also killed Elmira Gusenko, 40, in another park.
On a trip to Ukraine he raped and killed three women in ten days, according to the verdict of a Kiev court. One of his victims was a 77 year old woman.
A police video from Kiev shows him explaining too police how he killed a victim and left her body. He also attacked and robbed a flower seller who survived.
By 4 April 2015, he was back in Russia where he is accused of killing and raping Natalia Yelkina, 34, allege prosecutors.

Four days later came his suspected attack in the Dzhaga-Dzhaga sex shop. Evidence includes chilling CCTV footage of this brutal killing.
He then fled back to Ukraine where he was detained while drinking beer in a cafe.
Police Major-General Alexander Tereshchuk said: ‘During his interrogation it was established that he had a hatred of women since childhood.’
He told arresting officers: ‘If you had not detained me, I would have committed another murder. I planned a murder tonight, and I would not stop.’
The Kiev police chief said that they had contacted Uzbekistan colleagues and were told of his alleged crimes in his native country.
