‘Is that Liam Hemsworth?!’ Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov confuses Australian Open fans as he looks just like the Hunger Games star
Australian Open fans did a double take on Saturday night when they thought Liam Hemsworth was taking on Nick Kyrgios in a third-round match-up.
But it was Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov, 23, who bears a striking resemblance to handsome Australian actor, 30.
‘Can we just address the fact that @karenkhachanov looks like the long lost Russian Hemsworth brother?’ one sports fan wrote on Twitter.

Liam’s doppelgänger, who has previously joked about the pairs’ likeness, has been compared to the actor since his rise on the professional circuit in 2013.
The tennis ace has been regularly compared to the Hollywood star over the past month, as he has competed Down Under in both the ATP Cup and Australian Open.
‘Lowkey looks like he could be a Hemsworth brother’, ‘ Liam’s double!’, ‘kinda looks like he could pass for a Hemsworth brother and I’m kinda diggin it,’ fans swooned.
Another fan asked if he would be trying to meet Liam while Down Under, as another joked: ‘Are you Liam Hemsworth’s long lost twin?’

In February 2019, Karen also joked about ‘being more than happy to fill in’ for Liam if he needed a stand-in at future movie premieres he couldn’t attend.
