Ruth Langsford shows off stunning hair transformation as her estranged husband Eamonn Holmes goes on date with his new girlfriend

Ruth Langsford looked incredible as she showed off a new hairstyle on Friday. 

The presenter, 64, treated herself to a day at the hairdressers in the wake of her split from her former This Morning co-host Eamonn Holmes.

The pair tied the knot in 2010 and have son Jack, 22, together but called time on their marriage earlier this year.

And as Ruth was sat in the hairdressers chair, she showed off her new do to her Instagram followers as she gave her usual honeyed bob a shakeup.

The Loose Women star captioned the post: ‘The Master at work’, in a nod to her stylist at Leo Bancroft Salon.

But around the same time, it appeared that Eamonn had enjoyed a lunch date with his new girlfriend.

The TV star has been dating Katie Alexander, 42, ever since his split from Ruth, and he was at the Manchester United grounds not far from her home.

He wrote on Instagram: ‘Some superb company for lunch’

Eamonn has been dating relationship counsellor Katie, 42, confirmed they were dating shortly after his separation from wife Ruth was confirmed in May. 

And Eamonn has been discussing his future plans with GBNews colleagues, according to The Sun.

One employee told the publication: ‘Eamonn’s lined up lots more cruises with Katie for the near future- it’s become something they’re both really looking forward to.’

They added: ‘It became a bit of a sticking point between them as Eamonn has always had a passion for exploring new places.

‘Now, with Katie, Eamonn feels he can really embrace that side of life again. He’s eager to make up for the years he felt he missed out on.’

And their relationship has appeared to be bursting with romance as Eamonn has been bragging about his future plans with his GBNews pals, according to The Sun

The This Morning co-hosts shocked the nation when him and ex Ruth went their separate ways, and his counsellor girlfriend, 42, confirmed that they were dating just a few weeks back

 They then revealed that Eamonn allegedly used to say Ruth did not like to travel and didn’t enjoy travelling on a boat or a plane.

The Northern Irishman and divorcee Katie, who is a mother of three, first ignited a friendship with the TV presenter in 2015 through Twitter.

Her counselling specialities include ‘affairs and betrayals’ as well as ‘separation and divorce’.
