Troubled boxer Ryan Garcia has offered his thoughts on the outcome of the trial of former US President Donald Trump.
Trump was found guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in a Manhattan court room on Thursday afternoon.
Garcia, who has been photographed with the ex-President in the past, is a supporter of his and tweeted that he would stick with Trump going into November’s general election.
‘Just like that, the new president,’ Garcia tweeted. ‘He will still win, Just watch [USA flag emoji]’.
Social media reacted to the post, with many drawing a parallel to Trump’s felony convictions and Garcia’s multiple positive tests for performance enhancing drugs in his recent fight with Devin Haney.
‘A PED user supporting a convicted felon, why doesn’t it [surprise] me LMAO,’ wrote one user.
Another said, ‘only cheaters support, cheaters.’
