Since last month, Ryan has been actively promoting his film, Blade Runner 2049.
The Los Angeles premiere of the action flick, scheduled to take place Tuesday, will go on without a red carpet.
‘In light of the tragic events of last night, Warner Bros. Pictures, Sony Pictures, and Alcon Entertainment are canceling the red carpet for tomorrow’s screening of Blade Runner 2014,’ said the company on Monday, according to Variety.
‘We join the rest of the country in sending heartfelt thoughts and prayers to all those affected by this tragedy.’

In the drama, Ryan plays K, a new blade runner who discover’s a secret that leads him to seek out the former blade runner, played by Harrison Ford, 75.

Following the movie’s release, Ryan will gear up to play Neal Armstrong in the biographical drama, First Man.
