Ryan Gosling has fuelled rumours that he and his family are planning to move to the London after ‘he was spotted house-hunting’ in Barnes this week.
The Barbie actor, 43, seemed to be on a mission as he checked out luxury properties in the South-West London area.
According to The Sun, his glamorous Hollywood wife, Eva Mendes want to distance their children Esmeralda, nine and Amada, seven from the Hollywood limelight.
It is also thought Ryan is keen to lay down some roots in the UK so he has a home when in Britain.
He is currently in the capital filming sci-fi film Project Hail Mary, where he plays a science teacher turned astronaut, Ryland Grace.

A source said: ‘Ryan and Eva would certainly add an A-list element to an already well-to-do area.
‘The couple have several property contact they are utilising to help them find the perfect place, along with a budget of over £10 million.’
Ryan is not the only Hollywood actor moving across from the pond.
Last July, Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively bought a £4million home in Richmond.
It was also reported that the couple had bought a £1.5 million home in rural North Wales, close to the actor’s beloved Wrexham football club, but that proved wide of the mark.
They moved to the five-bedroom London home while Ryan filmed the third instalment of his action movie franchise in the capital.
South-West London, is popular with A-listers. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spent a large amount of time living there, as did Jason Sudeikis, while playing Ted Lasso, the American manager of fictional AFC Richmond.
Tom Holland and his girlfriend Zendaya are often spotted out dogwalking.

Ryan Gosling and Eva met in 2011 when they filmed the movie The Place Beyond The Pines together.
It comes after Ryan explained one of the reasons he took on his role in Netflix’s The Gray Man, was to spend time with his children and take them to new destinations.
He added that his role as Ken in the Barbie movie, was also partly inspired by his kids, as it’s how he is able to start introducing his work to them.
Speaking to heat magazine, he said: ‘I’m like a dad first, and part of the reason for doing the film [The Gray Man] was this opportunity for us to go to these interesting places and be there with my kids.’
