Body positive influencer Karina Irby has spoken out after she was slammed for the revealing outfit she wore to Taylor Swift’s Sydney concert.
The controversial plus-sized model, 33, was harshly critiqued after wearing a black bodysuit with revealing G-string feature and chunky black heeled boots to the show.
One follower slammed Karina’s look, saying ‘you have no class and no respect and it’s sickening. Wear this s**t on your OnlyFans, not to a concert filled with kids.’
Karina has now revealed why she decided to wear the bodysuit and admitted she was shocked with the backlash because she ‘wasn’t exposing a lot of skin’.
‘People didn’t know the backstory. When I was looking for the body suit, I was so nervous to even wear it because I have quite a curvy figure,’ she told news.com.au.
‘When I tried it on, I said to everybody at work, “People are going to call me out for wearing this.” But, I thought if I wore it with two sets of stockings it would be fine.’

Karina posted the video to Instagram after attending Swift’s Sydney concert in February.
One follower unleashed on the popular influencer at the time, writing: ‘If you think your outfit is similar to Taylor’s you’re delusional.’

Karina is best known for her body positivity posts and the empire she has built around selling cheeky bikinis.
In 2011, Karina founded her swimwear label Moana Bikini, which has gone on to become a household name for women across Australia.
In 2023, she was left humiliated when she was judged over a skin condition while receiving a pedicure.

The bikini designer has been open about the battle she’s fought with eczema her entire life, leaving her skin marred by scars and ‘patches of white skin’.
In an emotional Instagram video, she said she was now ‘feeling great’ about her body and wanted a pedicure – something she has previously avoided because of her skin.
Unfortunately, rather than boosting her confidence, Karina’s bravery was met with judgement from her pedicurist.
‘I’ve got lumps, bumps, scars, like I get it, I look different. But this lady looked at me like I was pure disease,’ the blonde beauty said in an emotional video.
