Sadie Robertson says she is ‘definitely still in the healing process’ following the birth of her daughter.

On Friday, the 23-year-old Duck Dynasty cast member posted a shot of herself holding her baby, Honey James, and gave an update to her 4.4 million followers.

The reality star shares her newborn daughter with her husband, Christian Huff, whom she married in 2019.

‘Haven’t really moved in the past 2 + days, and been receiving lots of help from my amazing husband and the grandmas.’ the Dancing With The Stars competitor noted. 

‘However I have had the best cuddles ever from this snuggle bug’ she added with a heart-eyes emoji.

The media figure also wrote about how she has had to adjust to being okay with accepting help. 

‘I will say postpartum has been so special in a million ways (truly) but the pain is real and can’t be ignored. Learning to be still and accept help so that I can be the best mom I can to my baby girl,’ she added.

Robertson also shared some videos to her Instagram stories on Saturday morning where she was seen relaxing with both Honey and Christian at their home.

In the clips, the reality television personality said she would divulge more details about the birth in the near future.

She also expressed that becoming a mother was ‘really amazing’ and that she was ‘taking some time’ to adjust to her new lifestyle.

The A&E star and her husband first met in 2018 during a crab fishing trip that was also attended by several of their relatives, although they did not begin dating for a few months after their initial meeting.

Prior to becoming romantically involved with the Florida native, Robertson dated Disney Channel star Austin North.

During the excursion, she discovered that her now-husband had sent her a direct message two years before they got to know each other that she had never seen. 

They eventually went Instagram official with their relationship on Valentine’s Day in 2019 and tied the knot later that year.

In October of last year, Robertson announced that she was pregnant with her first child.

The reality television personality gave birth to Honey last week, and she has been adjusting to her new life as a mother ever since then.
