Police are searching for a ‘dangerous’ armed bikie who allegedly fired a gun at a car during a tense road rage incident.
Detectives on Monday issued an arrest warrant for Saleh Atasoy, a 37-year-old Oxenford man who they allege was behind an attack in Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast on Friday.
Atasoy is though to have been behind the wheel of an Isuzu D-Max that was involved in a road rage incident with a 53-year-old driver of a Ford Ranger on Bermuda Street about 2.40pm.
Atasoy is a member of the Lone Wolf bikie gang and had been wearing an ankle tracker.

Police allege Atasoy produced a handgun and fired it into the side of the Ford Ranger before fleeing the scene.
No one on was injured during the heated incident.
Police said they believe Atasoy is ‘armed and is considered to be dangerous’.
‘If he is sighted, contact police on 000 (triple zero) straight away,’ police said.
Detective Senior Sergeant Simon Garrett said Atasoy is a Lone Wolf bikie who had been wearing a court-imposed GPS tracker for previous offences, the Cairns Post reported.
Sen-Sgt Garrett said police suspect Atasoy has removed his tracking device.

‘He is well-known to police and we’d like to locate and apprehend him as soon as possible,’ Det Sen-Sgt Garrett said.
‘He was under direction by the courts to wear that (tracker). There’s a number of matters before the courts’.
Det Sen-Sgt Garrett said it would be alleged the shooting happened after Atasoy was seen driving the white Dmax erratically along Nerang-Broadbeach Rd.
He urged Atasoy to hand himself in to police or make contact with his lawyer.
‘At the end of the day, it’s a stupid and dangerous act and he needs to face those consequences,’ he said.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who have any footage, to come forward.
