She is currently on a late summer vacation to Los Cabos with her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, and their blended family.

Lepère and the businessman tied the knot in 1996 but the relationship ended in 2004.

Together the pair co-parent four children. They are François Jr., 25, Mathilde, 22, Augustin, 16, and Valentina, 15.

Pinault had Francois Jr and Mathilde with French interior designer Dorothée Lepère. Then he welcomed Augustin with supermodel Linda Evangelista. Next came Valentina, his only child with actress Hayek.

Additionally, Salma’s mother, Diana Jiménez Medina, is on the trip.

Over the years, Hayek has raved about her love of horseback riding and how ‘the nobility of horses’ can ‘recharge one’s spirit.’

Back in 2019, she told her followers that she ‘love horses’ and has been vocal about her love for animals.

During an appearance on the Graham Norton Show, the Magic Mike’s Last Dance star revealed that she had ‘had ten dogs, five parrots, alpacas, horse, cats.’

‘They always come to me, they find me, he (Francois Henri Pinault), doesn’t believe me but they do!’ she mused.

In 2021, she told Vogue how spending time with horses help her when she’s in a ‘bad mood.’

‘Just watch them, listen to their silly noises, the way they walk. I have a very old horse, 38 years old…maybe it’s the oldest horse in the world, I don’t know. I love animals, all of them,’ she gushed.

The performer also has a pet owl, named Kering, who she rescued in 2019.

Over the years, she has stated that the owl sleeps in her room at night and flies around while she’s sleeping.

‘There are a lot of people in the house who don’t like the owl. And also she’s very quiet, and you don’t know she’s there, and she flies, and everybody screams. I love it when they scream. Isn’t it fantastic to see the reaction of people when they are afraid of something that is not going to harm them?,’ Salma said.
