Two A-list hairdressers believe you can, and they have shared the salon insider secrets that stylists use to coif their celebrity clients’ locks to perfection.

From the exact formula for parting your hair in the most flattering place, to always playing music as you style, Larry King, who tends to the tresses of Gigi Hadid, Pixie Lott and Karlie Kloss, and Hersheshons stylist Nick Latham have revealed the hairdressing hacks everyone can employ to achieve professional looking locks at home.

Celebrity hairdresser Larry King has shared his tips for achieving A-list locks at home – including 

The experts believe you should always play good music when you’re blow drying your hair because it helps you become much more focused and in a meditative state, making the whole process quicker and more efficient. 

Then take a hairdryer (Larry loves the Dyson model) and rough dry the underneath sections with no nozzle on to create volume. Then pop the nozzle on and smooth the top and front section.

Always blow dry the front sections forward first and then gently bring the hair back into your usual parting. This also helps with creating volume.

Once the hair is brought back into your natural parting, tuck the hair around your ears. When you pull the hair forward from behind your ears, it will frame your face perfectly, creating the movement and texture that you see on the runway.

To create soft waves, blow dry hair smooth and then once finished, tie hair into a really loose bun and leave for 10-15 minutes. When you have taken this out you will have easy, effortless waves.

THE FORMULA FOR A PERFECT BLOW DRY 

Always play good music

Take a hairdryer and rough dry the underneath sections with no nozzle on to create volume.

Pop the nozzle on and smooth the top and front section.    

Always blow dry the front sections forward first and then gently bring the hair back into your usual parting. 

Once the hair is brought back into your natural parting, tuck the hair around your ears. Pull the hair forward from behind your ears to frame your face.
